Kim Komljanec is a playwright, dramaturge and theatre director from Slovenia. Since completing her MA in playwriting at the University of Exeter, she writes in English and Slovenian. Her most recent play was commissioned and produced by Šentjakobsko     theatre in Ljubljana. She is currently writing an adaptation of a Greek myth for children, a commissioned handbook for drama teachers and a play about immigration. Kim runs playwriting courses for WRiTEON, the Cambridge playwriting forum as well as courses and workshops for drama teachers in Slovenia. Kim works with theatres of all shapes and sizes. She is also a keen improviser and member of an international playwriting network called The Fence.  As well as writing Philia, Kim was the assistant director on the production and is playing the role of Helen Storger.
